Grace Space for Parents and Children
The Grace Space is open for anyone who needs the option of being in a different space during the worship service. Parents are welcome to be in this space with their children to watch the worship service in an environment where they will not disrupt others. Children respond well to expectations set ahead of time as well as a regular routine. Whether you choose to use the room for the entire service, only during the message, or just on days when you need another option; this room is available for anyone who needs it. We want the Grace Space to be a comfortable and safe place where you and your child can still engage in our morning service.
SUNDAY MORNING FAITH FORMATION -
Faith Formation for all ages meets after the worship service. Pick up a drink and snack and gather around a table with family and friends to SHARE, READ, TALK, PRAY and BLESS one another. Discussion Guides and supplies are available each week in the fellowship area.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT KIDS -
Children who are 4 years old by 9/15/2025 through 6th grade
Wednesday Night Kids is a combined ministry between Bethel Reformed Church and Living Water Community Church. We meet September through May at Bethel from 6:15pm to 7:30pm. Kids meet in age graded groups to hear God’s word and build relationships. We have fun together as we interact through songs, games and crafts to reinforce what we read in our Bibles.
COMMUNITY YOUTH MINISTRY -
Youth in 7th – 12th grade from Bethel, Living Water and the community
This group meets September through May on the second floor of Security National Bank in Sheldon from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
THURSDAY MORNING PRESCHOOL PLAYGROUP -
This ministry is for parents/grandparents and their preschoolers. The Bethel building will be open from 9:30 to 10:30 am each Thursday for young children and a caregiver to listen to a Bible story, do an activity together, and have time to just play and talk. This group meets weekly, September through May, with breaks. Please check the schedule outside the Grace Space for dates we are meeting.
FAITH LEGACY SERIES -
Faith Legacy milestones are specific to an age group and are offered every two years. Three new age groups are being added this fall. These classes allow time for parents to interact with their child of that age group, and time for parents to share experiences with other parents. We conclude each milestone class with a blessing ceremony where parents speak a blessing to their child and present an object that goes along with that
milestone. Childcare is provided for younger siblings. Children who are older than the stated age may participate, please sign them up so we have enough supplies. Sign ups are available at the Welcome Desk.

We invite all of Bethel to participate in Sunday Morning Faith Formation in the fellowship area following the worship service. After you pick up a cookie and something to drink, gather around a table with your family or friends. If you would like, invite others to join your group as well. The leader of your table should pick up a discussion guide and supplies from the resource table and bring it back to your group where you can SHARE, READ, TALK, PRAY and BLESS (THE FAITH 5) together around today’s theme. We provide everything you need to help you interact with and discuss the portion of scripture used for today’s message. No one is too young or too old to participate and no one needs to be an expert. This is a great opportunity to spend time around God’s word and grow together in our faith. If you are unsure of what to do, please ask. Jodi Siebrecht is available and will be glad to help or partner you with someone who can join your table. Faith Formation meets from September through May with Sundays off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year and Easter.
Wednesday Night Kids Photos
Wednesday Night Kids is for TK – 6th graders. It is a combined effort with Living Water Community Church, being held at Bethel. We start at 6:15 pm and go until 7:30 pm. Our time begins in small groups where we read or act out the Bible story. Then we gather as a large group where we praise God with our voices. The Bible story is reviewed and the main point is experienced through a fun activity. We conclude in small groups again for time to talk about what we have heard and how it applies to our life. This is usually done through an activity or craft. Wednesday night activities meet from September through May with occasional nights off. The schedule is coordinated with the Community Youth Ministries program.
